Fresh university teachers should receive systematic training to build their capacity for imparting quality education better. They should be encouraged to initiate and conduct research work and undertake publication activities simultaneously. Quality teaching at the higher education level will become effective if it is preceded and followed by research. And research works should be supplemented by publication.
These were but some of the recommendations made at the three-day Workshop-cum-Seminar on “Faculty Development through Research and Publication” held at Southeast University recently.
